New node
mazzanet Productions is proud to announce that a new node, CAR1, has joined the network mesh. The node, situated in the centre of town on probably the highest point in the CBD, consists of an omnidirectional collinear antenna connected to a Linksys WRT54G running the standard open source network mesh embedded operating system. Noticable results of this addition include better coverage around the CBD area and faster effective speeds.
All the other nodes in the area have been updated to incorporate the new node into the routing configuration so no manual changes by the user are required. Nevertheless, the specific node details are available under ticket #1034 in the Support section of Account Tools.
